Formation of SK with the first product: the VHS video cassette

Introduction of the optical media range (blank CDs and blank DVDs). The start of our own production came two years later

Expansion of the product range by flash storage media (USB flash drives and memory cards)

The Koninklijke Philips N. V. nominates SK as the official distribution partner for the storage media products

Mobile Energy Range market launch (batteries, rechargeable batteries and battery chargers)

SK takes over the PLATINUM brand – one of the best known brands for storage media – from the BestMedia GmbH

Initial operation of the printing and packaging line for flash media at the Neuenrade site
